70% of women still don’t feel represented in media & advertising. That’s why Dove, in partnership with Girlgaze, Getty Images and women everywhere, created Project #ShowUs. We’re showing women as they are, not as others believe they should be. With both a global campaign and image bank to be leveraged by hundreds of publishers, we are creating a dialogue based on inclusiveness and authenticity.
I was brought in to lead the global campaign design, curate over 10,000 images from 169 photographers, and develop the social campaign launch to drive awareness. We also created the tool kit for our partners around the globe to ensure seamless integration.
It's incredible that a project of this massive scale also offers so much societal value. I’ve have always strived for truthfulness in my work and this project represents the ultimate defiance of stereotypes. It's one of my proudest.

For the Dove social takeover, we decided to lead with the women who best shatter one of the most pervasive, global stereotypes. We put them front and center in Instagram stories, using their own words and images. We also posted their ads with video content shot by Girlgaze to give our audience a behind the scenes look into our favorite photo shoots.
